André Parente is the mind behind Tempo de Viajar, a website that provides tips and tricks for the independent traveller, with nearly 170k followers on Facebook alone.

Since André has more accumulated miles than a small group of gap year teenagers altogether, what better place to interview him than at an airport?

I met up with André at his hometown’s international airport, Aeroporto Francisco Sá Carneiro in Porto, days before his departure on yet another epic travel through Asia, and just minutes before my flight gate closed. Just enough time to grab some top tips from a savvy traveller!

Want to hear his best tips and travel recommendations? Well, you better press play then!

* André is currently doing a crowdfunding to take TEMPO DE VIAJAR further. If you’d like to contribute, please go to ppl.com.pt/pt/prj/tempo-de-viajar
